Read this article about Susan, and had this to say: (these are her words verbatim).
I appreciate Susan also.
Her question was indeed relevant to me also.
To answer your question, I use AI tools daily. While I remain cautious about the accuracy of information from platforms such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, I find them valuable as a starting point for research, and they’ve proved both efficient and effective (ChatGPT more than Copilot).
I also use apps like Scribe and similar tools, which save a significant amount of time.
That said, I think many of these apps are still evolving. It feels as though companies are prioritizing getting their products to market rather than perfecting them first, but I expect they’ll be much more refined over the next few months (or days as fast as things are changing).
I’m sure there are countless other ways to leverage AI; I just need to grow my imagination in that space!
Because I work in Human Resources, I must be careful about how I use AI.
Any use must comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including employee privacy. And of course, I avoid sharing any proprietary company information on public platforms, unless I’m misinterpreting the terms and conditions, providers can use the data you supply, so it’s best to frame questions as generically as possible.
Thanks again for your newsletter; I really enjoy it and find it very helpful.

He said, "I'm not nearly as concerned about commercial over-the-counter AI; the feds can clamp all regulations they want from here to kingdom come (if they dare). What concerns me is the use of AI by our enemies, foreign and domestic. There's no sure way to detect and protect because the average human has proven itself to be EXTREMELY gullible and manipulable. I'm fearing a modern burning of the Roman Empire."
What do you think?
Tracy sees AI as a helpful but cautious tool for everyday work, especially in HR. Philip, on the other hand, worries more about how AI could be weaponized by bad actors.
